Japanese Maple is grown for its foliage — finely divided leaves that shift colour through the season, often most dramatically in spring on a named cultivar like Deshojo. It asks more of you than Juniper or Chinese Elm: genuine outdoor conditions, shelter from harsh midday sun, and protection for tender new growth from late spring frost.
